I created CAD-based 3D scale models representing products in Sphere Global's PRISM line, including the Prism Pod and the Prism TUNL.
The work
My contribution was the modeling: translating each product into a clean, to-scale 3D representation that could be used to show what the product looks like and how its parts fit together.
The underlying PRISM technology is Sphere Global's. My part was representing those products accurately in CAD.
What it taught me
Modeling someone else's product is different from designing your own. The goal isn't to make design decisions — it's to capture an existing design faithfully, at the right proportions, so that other people can rely on it.
