Raider Robotix is FIRST Robotics Competition Team 25. I lead the mechanical build side of the team and spend a lot of my time teaching newer members how to design parts and then actually make them.
Building the robot
As build lead I help run the mechanical team — designing and developing mechanisms, and working through intakes, shooters and drivetrain systems from CAD to the finished part.
A big part of the job is making sure the rest of the team can do this too. I teach younger members CAD in Onshape and the practical side of fabrication, including how to run the lathe and drill press safely.
- Lead the mechanical build team
- Design and develop robot mechanisms
- Work on intakes, shooters and drivetrain systems
- Teach Onshape CAD to newer members
- Teach lathe and drill press operation
Scouting and strategy
In 2024–25 I was co-lead scout. That meant coordinating the people watching matches, evaluating how other teams' robots actually performed, and turning that into input for alliance selection and match strategy.
Team results
These are team results — the work of everyone on Raider Robotix.
- Fourth-place alliance ranking at Montgomery
- Fourth-place alliance ranking at Robbinsville
- Qualified for the FIRST Mid-Atlantic District Championship
